ELECTROMAGNETIC BTU METER: MODEL TMAG

Spire Metering’s T-MAG electromagnetic BTU meter measures energy in water heating and cooling circuits. It consists of an electromagnetic flow sensor, a pair of temperature sensors, and a main unit (integrator). The main unit ensures high-accuracy flow measurement, temperature measurement, and BTU calculation. The flow sensor operates on Faraday’s Law, measuring the volumetric flowrate of conductive liquids. Its microprocessor and advanced signal processing enhance accuracy and reliability. The large LCD display simplifies readings and settings. High-accuracy RTD temperature sensors provide precise measurements. BTU calculation follows the EN1434 heat meter standard, minimizing errors. The T-MAG supports multiple output options, including 4-20mA, MODBUS, BACnet, and GPRS. It seamlessly integrates with BMS and PLC automation systems.
