PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES

Pressure Reducing Valves are designed to reduce incoming water or steam pressure to a safer constant predetermined downstream level. Depending on the type of valve, the downstream pressure is established by a pressure adjustment setting on the valve or by an external sensor. Pressure Reducing Valves are utilized in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial applications.
Applications
According to EN 806-2, these pressure-reducing valves protect household water systems from high supply pressure. They can also be used in industrial or commercial settings if they meet the required specifications.
Installing a pressure-reducing valve helps prevent pressure damage and lowers water use. It keeps the water pressure steady, even if the supply pressure changes a lot.
Lowering and stabilizing the pressure also reduces noise in the water system.
